Welcome to Peter Hudspith / Illustration
For over twenty five years now, I've been working as a freelance artist and illustrator. I produce imaginative, versatile and mildly quirky illustrations for a variety of clients, including Book publishers, Design groups, Advertising agencies and Academic establishments across the country. I work in both traditional and digital, media to suit the particular job, in hand.
In the 1980's I was based in London, where I formed good working relations with Publishers such as Hodder & Stoughton, Richmond English, Longman Books and Pardoe Blacker Publishing. I've also illustrated posters for several advertising agencies including 'Bartle Boggle Hegarty; Newton & Godin and the 'Sales Machine'. More recently I produced a book with Oxford University Press and illustrated for Letts & Lonsdale publishers in Holmfirth West Yorkshire
Having moved around the country in various places I worked in the Computer Games industry for three years in Leamington Spa, producing artwork for games as diverse as Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' to 'The Mummy Returns'. The games industry was a lot of fun, as I got to develop an interest in digital media
whichI often use in my current work.
Now in Leeds, where I have settled for a while, I've continued to develop my work further and have
gained commissions from a greater variety of clients both in the north as well as the south.
